Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays !!

WOW... from Halloween to CHRISTMAS !! Boy am I getting worse @ this blogging thing or what ?!!? Thats what LOVE will do to ya I guess!! hehehe... Jeffrey & I have been spending a lot of time 2gether (as always!!) ... Thanksgiving & Christmas were spent apart with our individual families this year which, to be honest, was kinda difficult but fun nonetheless. :o )

...CHRISTMAS w/ THE FAM...
Christmas Eve was spent just hanging out, playing games, talking & of course the traditional one gift...Although Kaiya got her way & got a few more than one!!
... She kept pointing at the gifts under the tree saying 'What tis?'
...Moona gave in & let her & Riley open a few (does that really surprise you!! lol)
     

After some fun @ the 'rents we headed over to Nick & Jaime's to get the kids in bed b4 Santa showed up!! ...Mom, Dad & I helped Nick & Jaime put together all the toys for Kaiya & Riley...lol... Now I know what it'll be like when I have my own kids!! Im gonna buy everything no assembly required !! LOL I swear it took us like 4 hours!! But Christmas morning it was totally worth it!! Kaiya really got into it & figured out by the last 2 or 3 presents that it goes faster if ya just rip into em! haha Riley opened a few & was definately more into it than I remember Kaiya being last year for her 1st Christmas :o )
They definately cleaned out Santa's workshop with all the fun stuff they got!! lol

(funny story: Jaime set out the milk & cookies... of course Kaiya wanted to eat the cookies & drink the milk - Jaime's words were 'dont touch the milk'...'dont touch' ...Harmless enough right?! LOL Christmas morning when Nick & Jaime told Kaiya that Santa had eaten the cookies & drank the milk she immediately said 'dont touch' !! lol)

...CHRISTMAS w/ JEFFREY ...

Since Christmas Eve & Day were spent apart, Jeffrey & I decided to spend the entire day on Dec 26th 2gether as OUR Christmas !! :o )

He came over abt 8am, got into the pj's my mom had gotten the fam & climbed into bed...

Plan was to sleep basically 4ever then get up & pretend it was Christmas morning!! We slept a lil but were both too excited to give gifts so that didnt last long haha...We got up & exchanged presents!!

I got all kinds of massaging stuff - a hand held massager, a shiatsu massage chair & a coupon to go get a massage!! He also gave me coupons to do my dishes!! hehe ...since he couldnt find me a countertop dishwasher that had any good reviews!

For those who dont know...Jeffrey collects trains !!
All kinds all sizes... & his FAVORITE for a very long time has been a Union Pacific engine with the American flag on the side!! Well...
THIS year...
He not only got the larger O scale size he's always wanted but I got him 2 smaller ones as well !!




He's also always wanted a passenger train set...SO... ;o )




I video recorded him opening each one cause I knew I'd get good reactions!! ... (sorry some of them are sideways)

HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEN .... well almost :o )

HALLOWEEN is one of my favorite holidays (Next to my bday of course...hehe) !!

As a kid I think it was cause I got alot of candy...
In high school I think it was the creepy eerie haunted stories & all weirdos that came outta the woodwork... yea I went trick or treating in high school as well !! lol
As Ive gotten older I just like to be frightened... Just that thrill of a scary movie or the chainsaw guy at the haunted house gets the adrenaline pumpin' !! I love it!!

I also love to dress up... This may sound bad but Halloween is the one time of year you can dress like a trashy whatever - witch, vampire, faerie - & totally get away with it!! LOL When I was a single woman I did just that!! 'How sexy CAN I be this Halloween!?' :o )

But this year... It wasnt the idea of being all SEXY that had me excited looking 4ward to the holiday... although, as you can see, I looked dang hott in my costume ;o ) ... Instead I found myself more excited to have someone special to dress up with!! Ive always loved seeing couples dressed up 2gether @ parties - hansel & gretel, raggedy ann & andy, cop & robber... you get it ! :o )

When Jeffrey & I decided to dress up 2gether I was SO excited!! I couldnt wait !!

... But what were we gonna be?!?!? ...

WELLLLL... The original plan was GYPSYs ... Something Ive never done befre ...
@ 1st I thought 'Im gonna look like a friggin homeless bag lady' lol Then as I started looking up gypsy costumes & I was like 'ooooo I can be a super hott gypsy!!' hehehe

... So I started shopping around looking for just the right stuff to cut up & sew 2gether to create my costume! I found just about EVERYTHING I needed @ the D.I...SWEET!!
All in all I think my costume cost abt $50!!

We didnt really have time to look for something for Jeffrey til last minute, but when we went searching we found some AMAZING stuff @ a place called Pib's Exchange in Sugarhouse!!
It was then we decided PIRATES was the way to go!!! ... See when I made my costume it kinda turned out to look a lil more pirate-y than gypsy-y (lol) ...

We looked AMAZING ... SEE !!!!

Kaiya & Riley are the cutest kids ever Took them to the fair this summer Kaiya rode a pony & Riley ended up with blue all over his cute lil face cause of the hand stamp Jaime & Nick are doing wonderful Jaime celebrated her 25th bday WOW my little sisters getting old LOL funny thing is she's the same age as my boyfriend lol Mom & Dad are doing great Dad had to have open heart surgery just about 3 weeks ago & is recouping well Normal side effects & sorta bummed I think cause he couldnt work or lift the grandkids but he's doing good He's been cleared to go back to work & is doing well in PT Jeffrey & I are happy in love & growing daily We've hit a few road blocks but nothing we havent held hands & climbed over & conquered 2GETHER He's my strength My best friend & The man I love with all my heart We have recently chosen to not see one another as 'serious' and work on the deeper connection & grow our friendship Believe me that doesnt mean we're 'just friends' We still kiss say I love you Talk every day See one another often & even talk about our future We both just feel at this time we need to take things day by day & love every second of it Work is work Same ol Same ol I am moving to a new apt in a few weeks (Nov 1st) Its a small mother-in-law apt So I basically have my own little house No listening to noisy neighbors through the walls Im really very excited Im HAPPY & LIFE IS WONDERFUL ... !!!!

& THATS.... MY LIFE !! ;o ) hehehe

Seriously...Can I have 5 of EACH !!

So I spent Sunday with the fam as usual ...
& I tell ya I can NOT get enuf of Kaiya & Riley!! :o )

We had an incredible POURing rain storm & I, being the fun awesome Aunt that I am (!!), got Kaiya to go out on the deck to play IN the rain!! lol
... She had so much fun!!
& of course we had alot of fun WATCHING her...

After a lil bit though, as you can see, her lips started to look purple & she was SOAKED !! haha
But everytime we said 'You ready to come in?' ... She assertively said 'Noooooo!!'

& Riley ... gets cuter & cuter every day!!
He's does all the cute things kids do to make parents brag about their babies!!
Only its his Aunt thats doing the bragging!!

He's so sweet & those big brown eyes are enough to melt ya on the spot :o )

Other than posting some new pics of the kids I dont have much else to add...

Jeffrey & I are doing GREAT!!
We feel closer & closer every day :o )
He's going to school right now ...
He's on his last semester til he finishes up his Associates!!
WooHoo :o ) Way to go baby!!!

So between WORK & SCHOOL & HOMEWORK & FAMILY he's a pretty darn busy guy!!
We actually created a 'schedule' to make sure we can spend ample time together!!
We both hate being confined to a schedule BUT...
We know its the best way to keep our lives in order at the moment SO... It works !! :o )

Although we DO both really hate to say goodnite
& can never get enough of one another...
He often stops by the office for a quick hug & kiss before he heads to work
& we typically do scripture study every nite via webcam !! hehe

The other day I asked him if he'd be this romantic & sweet after we get married...
He assures me he will !!
& I believe him cause its in his nature...
He isnt doing all the wonderful things he does to impress me...
He's simply being who he IS !!
I love that !!!
... finally a man who's as open honest & genuine as I am with the world!! :o )

Happy HAPPY bday to ME (yesterday) !!

As most of you know when I celebrate MY birthday its kinda more like a birthWEEK :o )
...Its totally all about ME & what I wanna do !! ... How ever many time I wanna do it !! hehe
SO...
MY festivities started Thursday nite when some girls from my ward treated me to Cheesecake Factory. YUM!!
Friday nite Jeffrey & I joined our friends Steph & Cam for a lil redneck fun @ the Salt Lake County Fair for the DEMOLITION DERBY...Awesome !!! Car crunchin', Body slammin', Fire, Fights... Yea!! Awesome :o )
Saturday I spent the day on a boat with some friends @ Pineview Dam... Good thing Im a summer baby cause I totally worship the sun!! ;o ) ... By the way I started the day with a kiss from my man & a treat of strawberries & honey since he had to work :o ( & wasnt able to join us for fun!!
Sunday were family festivities!! As always Birthday Girls choice for dinner & desert. - Salmon, Asparagus & Lime cheescake ...mmmmm :o ) Jeffrey & I spent time havin' fun playing games w/ the fam & watchin the kids be cute-n-crazy!!

MONDAY... My actual day of birth...
... Sigh ...
Ive never had such an incredible, happy, romantic, fun-filled, memorable, sweet birthday !! :o )
All week Jeffrey lovingly teased me with lil comments like
"Youre going to love your birthday!"
"Im so excited for your birthday!"
"So ya want me to tell ya what we're doing... Too bad"
"We are going to have so much fun on Monday!!"
:o ) Brat huh ?!?! :o ) But I LOVEd it!!
No one has ever been able to surprise me & no guy has ever loved me so much to take the time, the energy & the thought that Jeffrey did in planning a VERY special day

...JUST for ME !! :o )

I was awakened around 8:30am to a sweet kiss & a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY !!
I, of course, did not wanna get OUT of bed...
But it was such a treat to start my bday looking @ his excited, smiling, happy face!!
While I showered & got ready, this wonderful thoughtful man did my dishes!!! I was ready to go abt 9:30am & we set off... My bag was packed for anything he could throw at me!! ... I had 3 changes of clothes - 1 nice 1 comfy bummy & 1 casual !! - & all kinds of other stuff!!
I am a freaking GirlScout dang it !! lol

1st stop.... IHOP !!
... Breakfast isnt my main meal of the day but IHOP is sort of a place that has a bit of meaning for us... We've met there for breakfast b4 work in the past!! :o )

2nd stop.... MOVIE !!
...We went to see The Mummy @ Century 16 !! & since we were 2 of 6 ppl in the theater I decided Id get COMFY !! ...HEY its MY bday!! :o ) hehe I folded up the arms of 3 seats & layed across them w/ my head in Jeffreys lap... It was seriously like watchin a flick @ home!! SOOO comfy!!

NEXT ... Romantic Picnic in the Park !!
...This is where you'll see that my guy happens to be the sweetest most romantic man EVER !!
We drove to Sugarhouse Park (which I had never been to by the way!) ... We found a sweet lil spot on the South end of the park under a tree... There Jeffrey proceeded to get a cooler, blankets & pillows from his trunk !! ... In the cooler was all my favorite fixins for sub sandwiches :o ) He even brought olives & miracle whip - 2 things he HATES on his sub!!
After we ate we layed on the blanket enjoying the weather & just being with one another :o )

.... And just when you think it couldnt get any better than this
The days only half complete!! ....

NEXT STOP .... PARK CITY for Apline Slide/Coaster !!!
...We headed up I-80 to fun city Park City to the Alpine Slide & Coaster !! (another place Id never been!!)
We both had so much fun playing !!
We rode the Coaster then the chair lift up to the Slide!!
It was a blast...
After playing a bit we decided to get a characture pic done!! lol
Ive always wanted one & I dont think it turned out too bad ...

DINNERTIME ....
By now we were both pretty hungry so we headed to dinner...
Dinner was MY choice & to keep with the romantic, nostalgic theme of the day ... I chose Texas Roadhouse - where we had our 1st date!!

AFTER DINNER .... We headed back to my apt where my sweet hopeless romantic (like me!!) boyfriend set the ambiance by playing a few tender songs on the laptop & had me sit in my bedroom - eyes closed... The anticipation just about killed me but the songs he chose were so incredible ...
The best was this one ...


...I sat listening to music, waiting, filled with anticipation...
Jeffrey came into my room...sat on the bed in front of me & told me to open my eyes...

When I opened them I saw this...
A gorgeous, sparkling, amazingly beautiful heart shaped locket!! ...
He told me he searched several stores for it & it was EXACTLY what he was looking for... He told me that he was giving me his heart !!! !!! (here's where you sigh & swoon & wish you had one JUST like my guy!!)

If what Ive just written doesnt already say it... Lemme tell ya...
Jeffrey is the most amazing, incredible, attentive, thoughtful, romantic man EVER!!! :o )
This was seriously the BEST birthday Ive ever had!!

Still soaring HIGH ...

I know I havent kept ya up to date ...But really I think everyone who reads this either calls me for updates or emails me to hear all my amazing stories !! ...
BUT just in case there are a few ppl out there that depend solely on THIS blog to play catch up in JazzyLand... Here ya go !! ...

So this man is still the light of my life.
There arent enough words to describe how I feel abt him or how he makes me feel... & yes... He says the same thing!! :o )

He calls to wake me up in the morning, texts me through out the day, calls me AT work to say I love you, meets me for lunch, gives me sweet kisses & tight hugs, shares his heart, listens to me in ANY mood, & says some of the most romantic heart-felt things that sound nothing less than movie lines... Its amazing !! :o )
I seriously have over 50 'saved' text messages in my phone because they are just too sweet to get rid of!!

{ I love YOU in any mood! Goofy, silly, sarcastic, funny, serious, mad, angry, annoyed...It is all you! And I love every part! }

{ everyday, every second there is not one moment in time that I would not love to spend with you!! }

Yea sure we have our differences...But -in HIS words- Our differences compliment one another!! & when we have a different idea of how something should go or one of us said something without thinking we talk... SO where have I been ?!!? ....

Well a certain cute, sweet, funny, spiritual, adorable, caring, attentive, AMAZING guy has been holding my attention ALOT lately...
His name's Jeff... Jeffrey is what I like to call him!! :o )

I met Jeff when I went in to one of our vendors to pick up some parts for the electricians... haha... I guess I didnt really MEET him... But he does remember me flirting with him! :o ) ME?!?! Flirting?!?! Neeeeevvvver! LOL

So...I called our inside sales guy immediately after I left the store to ask WHO the cutie behind the counter 'in the BYU hat' was...
Our sales rep did a lil research for me & called back with the 411...He also found out that Jeff WOULD be interested ...The salesman gave Jeff my number...consequently that turned out to be written down wrong! lol :o ) So he had to ask for it again!

That was just abt 2 months ago... We've been hanging out/ dating/ talking/ laughing (& yes he has kissed me!! & those kisses make me melt!!) for abt a month & 1/2 !! :o )

I can honestly say he's everything I always wanted, never thought existed & wondered if I'd ever meet !!! :o )

Yesterday was Kaiya's FIRST Easter Egg Hunt !! She had so much fun!! ...
Granted she got bored & was done b4 all the eggs were found (I only hid 30!! lol)
But it was a blast to watch her!!

She was also in a giggly goofy mood...

The person u run into online, The guy you meet at a single conf, The girl who judges you by 1 persons opinion, The guy behind the counter... Its ALL for a reason...

...You live You learn ...

I feel, as of late, that all my experiences- GOOD & BAD, all the ppl- GOOD or BAD... Have been placed in my life specifically... MY LIFE... to help me learn & grow in some way...
Yes even the heartbreakers, the wrong choices & those kinda ppl ... :o )
God has blessed me with trials...I said BLESSED... & certain ppl ...& through things He has placed in my life Ive become the person I am ...
& I wouldnt change ME for the world!!

Superbowl XLII ...

Ok so I didnt actually watch the Superbowl this year...
The fun of playing with my niece won over football on Sunday...
BUT... I did see the last, amazing, incredible, heart pounding, breath holding 5 minutes of the game!! & in my opinion, from watching highlights & such, those 5 minutes were the best!!
The sack on Tom Brady, the assumed game-winning touchdown THEN the real game-winning touchdown... WOW !! Good stuff!!
& I didnt even care WHO won...
I just like to watch em run, listen to the crunch & watch the fans go crazy!!

I usually like many of the commercials too...
But after watching them on MySpace Im really disappointed!!
I only found a few I liked... In case u missed 'em ...Here are MY choices...

Yesterday Prophet of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Dat Saints, Gordon B Hinckley, passed away at age 97.
What an amazing man !! Reunited with his beautiful wife I can only imagine thier joy right now.

Days Go By...

Well its been a few months since Ive posted...

I really dont have much interesting to catch you up on !! I havent written in my journal much if it makes ya feel any better :o )

Life's good... Its normal... Nothing extraordinary going on :o ) ...
My typical day goes as follows:
Work...Home... haha... YUP thats it !!
I, of course, spend Friday nites either recovering from the work week
or playing hard!

I'll give ya some new pics...
Just cause we all know how much I love taking my own pics ...hehe...

I AM going to Vegas the weekend after Valentine's...haha...NO not for a runaway wedding - theres another singles conference coming up !! Hopefully something exciting happens betwen now & then OR there so I have something to write ya about!!
